We continually strive to be a hub of inspiration and dynamic change within the DIY and Natural Building movement. Mud and Pearls inspires and motivates people of all ages to create beautiful, sustainable, hand made projects. We create an atmosphere of fun, curiosity, and supportiveness where the best decision for the environment, the individual, and the community can be reached.
Also known as ‘Cob Rob’ or Sequoia. Rob is a pioneer in the art of cob construction, he is the proprietor of California Cob and has partnered with Mud and Pearls to teach many different workshops. Durinda Kelley Durinda is a master gardener and composter. She teaches our ‘build a bin: worm composting class’ Marian Lee Marian is a local artist specializing in mosaic tiling. Lebin St.John Lebin is a master wood and metal worker. He teaches our knife sharpening class and coming soon a ‘wood working for all’ class. Eric Clausen Eric is a local Blacksmith and teaches all of Mud and Pearl’s metal working classes at his studio in Camptonville. Jenny Bath Jenny is an expert climber and teaches our ‘fit to be tied: knot tying’ class. Sean Kerrigan Sean is a local Sawyer and will be teaching our first ever ‘Chainsaw for Men’ class, coming in January 2014
